Are kids allowed at Burning Man? Do they need tickets?
Last Updated -
Burning Man is an all ages event. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guardians should bring a signed and dated letter from one or both parents of the minor authorizing guardianship during the event.
Kids and families have been part of Burning Man since 1986 on Baker Beach. Kids 12 years old and under get in free but are required to have a no-cost kids ticket to enter the event. The self-service link for free kids tickets will be available on tickest.burningman.org later in the season.
Children should always have some form of identification on their person at all times at Burning Man. Our Family Unification Network (FUN) is a great way to have extra identification for your child.
